Privacy Policy — GoFree
GoFree ("we", "us", "the app"), operated by Yaxbi Technologies LLC, respects your privacy. This document explains what data the app collects, why, and your rights regarding it.
1. Data we collect

On-device only (not sent to our servers): with your permission, GoFree uses Android Usage Access and Accessibility services to measure screen time and to power this release’s focus features — Permanent Block and Intentional Sessions. Accessibility is used only to detect which app is currently open so we can interrupt or pause it. That information stays on your device; we do not upload it to Supabase or other cloud analytics.
We do not currently collect analytics events, crash reports, purchase history, or AI prompts in the shipped configuration described here.
2. How we use your data
- Authenticate you and maintain your account (Supabase; optionally Google Sign-In)
- Provide focus features on your device (blocking, intentional sessions, screen-time insights) using on-device permissions
- Respond to privacy or support requests you send to us
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. The third-party services that process account data on our behalf are:
- Supabase (supabase.com/privacy) — authentication and account storage (backend hosted in the EU)
- Google (policies.google.com/privacy) — if you sign in with Google (name, email, and photo provided by Google)
4. Your rights
- Delete your account and associated account data in-app from Settings → Account → Delete account
- Request data export or ask privacy questions by emailing info@yaxbi.com
Account data is fully purged within 30 days of a deletion request.
5. Security
Data in transit to Supabase uses HTTPS/TLS. Sensitive values stored locally on the device use encrypted storage (AES-GCM via the Android Keystore where applicable). No security measure is perfect; please use a strong password and protect your device.
6. Children
GoFree may be used by users under 13. We do not knowingly sell children’s personal information. Account features that collect email/name are subject to applicable children’s privacy laws (COPPA in the United States and similar rules elsewhere).
Important for Google Play: declaring an under-13 audience typically requires complying with Google Play’s Families policies and related questionnaires. If you do not intend GoFree to be a children’s app, retarget the store listing to 13+ and update this section.
Parents or guardians who believe we collected a child’s data inappropriately can contact info@yaxbi.com and we will delete it promptly.
7. International transfers / GDPR (EU / EEA)
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have rights under the GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to certain processing. Our account backend is hosted in the EU. Where data is processed by Google (if you use Google Sign-In), transfers may occur under Google’s terms and appropriate safeguards.
To exercise GDPR rights, email info@yaxbi.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
8. California residents / CCPA
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” as defined by California law. We do not sell your personal information. To make a request, email info@yaxbi.com.
9. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change.
